Stem Cell Culture Media and Reagents
Translation-Ready Tools Designed for Stem Cell Research, Pre-Clinical and Clinical Applications
Our evolving portfolio of xeno-free, animal-free stem cell culture media, stem cell reagents, and protocol offers powerful support for researchers culturing, reprogramming, characterizing, and differentiating stem cell colonies. From identifying colonies and their lineages to monitoring changing morphology, these stem cell products are accelerating researchers’ quest to understand disease processes.
Human Pluripotent Stem Cell Culture
Human embryonic stem cells and human-induced pluripotent stem cells offer enormous therapeutic potential. Using these cells for cell-based therapy requires a scalable, reproducible, and controlled process that employs serum-free and xeno-free media.
NutriStem® hPSC XF Medium, a xeno-free, defined culture medium designed to support undifferentiated hESC and hiPSC in a feeder-free environment. The medium is an optimal low-protein formulation, containing only the most essential components required for the maintenance and expansion of pluripotent stem cells. NutriStem® hPSC XF Medium is performance-validated over long-term culture (>50 passages), demonstrating excellent cell growth and proliferation, as well as the maintenance of pluripotency, normal karyotype, and proper gene expression over time.
Human Mesenchymal Stem Cell (hMSC) Culture
Human mesenchymal stem cells have become very desirable tools in tissue engineering and cell therapy protocols. Since hMSC properties can be significantly affected by culture conditions and variation in media components, reagent quality and performance is crucial for hMSC culture.
We offer a complete system for hMSC isolation, expansion, and differentiation in a completely defined, serum-free, and Xeno-free environment, including reagents for attachment, dissociation, and cryopreservation. MSC NutriStem® XF Medium offers superior proliferation and long-term growth of hMSCs from a wide variety of tissue sources while maintaining normal morphology, stable karyotype, and tri-lineage differentiation potential.
Stem Cells Cryopreservation
NutriFreez® are optimized freezing solutions designed and validated for the cryopreservation of many cell types, including hESCs, iPSCs, and hMSCs. The solutions maintain animal component-free conditions during cryopreservation, essential to maintaining consistency when culturing cells in xeno-free and animal component-free systems. With proven reliability and consistency, NutriFreez® provides a high-performance protective environment for cells during the freezing, storage, and thawing process.
