Problem

Changes made in a project configuration for the active page are not saved (Q807)

Symptoms:

When the use of Electronic Signature is enabled on a server and a client is making a change in a configuration some changes on the active page of the configuration are not saved.

Specifically when editing a value in an edit field, such as the ones used for time ranges or alarm triggers, and subsequently clicking OK to save the changes the Electronic Signature dialog is displayed requiring a signature. After typing the password for the signature and clicking OK the configuration is saved. However, the changes made in edit fields on the page that was last active were not saved.

Note that spreadsheets and controls other than edit-fields are not affected.

Cause:

A bug in the product listed above prompted for an Electronic Signature before actually saving the values.

Resolution:

Fixed in SIMCA®-online 13.3.

Workaround:

After making a change activate another page in the configuration first, then click OK to save the changes.
