Classical and General Use Media
Classical Media Manufactured Following cGMP Guidelines Under ISO:9001
Classical media are produced using well-known public recipes (published formulations). Nevertheless, Sartorius manufactures this type of media with great care, following cGMP guidelines and in accordance with ISO:9001. A Device Master Record (DMR) is prepared for every medium produced. It defines the production procedures–from receipt of raw materials to final product release, the environmental and processing controls required, as well as product specifications (including packaging and labeling), ensuring batch-to-batch consistency. Like all other Sartorius Media, classical media are manufactured with the highest-grade raw materials, most often EP or USP compliant and sourced from qualified and approved suppliers. Water for Injection (WFI) quality water is consistently used to produce any liquid media product. Indeed, we rely on our excellence and expertise to offer you the safest, most reliable and most consistent products.
Chemically Defined Multi-Purpose Media
General Use Chemically Defined Media Allow for Better Conditions of Cultivation
Our range of chemically defined multi-purpose media have comparable performances or exceed that of standard media supplemented with fetal bovine serum.
