A New Center of Excellence for BioAnalytics
Sartorius is expanding its presence in North America with a new state-of-the art plant in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The facility will create a Center of Excellence for BioAnalytics in North America, which focuses on providing advanced solutions to help customers in the development of new and better therapies and more affordable medicine. The new site will:
- Consolidate existing sites and functions based in Ann Arbor for BioAnalytics, microcarriers, and particle validation standards
- House a new process development laboratory to support the Advanced Therapies market
- Focus on sustainable features including electric vehicle charging stations, solar panels on the roof, and the research park’s first storm runoff pond
- Provide space for further expansions in the future
Business Development Project of the Year
This new facility received the 2023 Business Development Project of the Year Award from the non-profit organization Ann Arbor SPARK.
