Regular maintenance of the Octet® SF3 is critical in ensuring consistent, reliable results. Daily use can result in adsorption of material to the microfluidic tubing and potential microbial growth within the system, which may impact instrument performance. The Octet® SPR Maintenance Kit is designed for use during weekly instrument desorb protocol - as well as during each monthly desorb and decontaminate program - to remove absorbed proteins and other materials from the system and ensure long-term instrument performance. Additionally, an inert Octet® SPR Maintenance Chip has been developed for use during all predefined Octet® SF3 cleaning protocols within the Octet® SPR Discovery Software, to ensure your system is in excellent working order.
