Minisart® NMFL SFCA syringes are individually packed sterile, making them available for immediate use whenever sterile filtration, clarification and cell removal are needed. The (SF)CA membrane is available for the following pore sizes : 0.2 µm and 0.45 µm.. The housing is made of methacrylate butadiene styrene (MBS), an acrylic resin with limited compatibility with alcohol and free of phthalates.

Cellulose Acetate Filter

The cellulose acetate membrane filter combine high flow rates and thermal stability with very low adsorption characteristics are compatible with aqueous solutions, oils, alcohols and other organic solvents. Cellulose acetate is also hydrophilic, have due to their symmetric structure high flow rates and is appropriate for aqueous solutions, such as media, buffers and sera.

Luer Lock Technology

Having a Luer lock syringe ensures a secure connection, preventing accidental removal of the needle and accidental injection of contents. When using a precise laboratory technique, this added quality protection detail is essential for working with complete confidence.

Wide Variety of Applications

Due to the low protein binding capacity, low leachables and high flow rate, the Minisart® NML (SF) CA Syringe Filter has a wide variety of applications. It can be used with filtration of aqueous solutions such as cell culture media and serum, sterile filtration and high protein-containing fluids such as plasma.
