Fill last good value after merge using Trim-functionality (Q926)
The information in this article applies to:
SIMCA® 18
SIMCA® 17
SIMCA® 16
Summary:
The Merge feature assumes that missing value is a valid entry when it appears on a row with numbers in other variables. This means that filling with Last good value when there is a missing value that is perceived as a good value results in more missing data than you might have expected.
Workaround:
After merging your data, use the Trim-Winz feature in the Data Explorer pane to first Find missing values and then Replace with last good value.
