Summary:
SIMCA-online 16.1.2 is a maintenance release for SIMCA-online 16.1.

Fixed issues:
- Fix: Control Advisor points now shows up for batch level models that combine data from several phases.
- Fix: Contributions now can be made between non-contiguous observations for continuous projects with lags. Fixes the issues listed in KB-articles Group - group contributions unavailable (Q944) (sartorius.com) and Contributions incorrect in a continuous model with lags when selecting non-contiguous observations (Q893) (sartorius.com)
- Fix: long numeric batch identifiers in spreadsheets in SIMCA-online are no longer converted to exponential format when saving to DIF-file and other file formats
- Fix: Predicting a finished batch using Administration > Predict now works as expected when the setting 'Keep batch active for late entry data' has been configured in the project configuration. This used to incorrectly cause predictions to fail. See the knowledge base article Q948
- Fix: Predictions for models that use a Derivative spectral filtered dataset is now correct also when more than one dataset exists and they have overlapping but not identically ordered variables.
- Fix: Server out limits were not correctly applied for discrete data
- Fix: Previously you were unable to log in the first time as a member of a group-authenticated user by typing the user name when the user is outside the specified Base OU specified in Server Options
- Notifications now show the variable names and aliases for alarms and notes
- Fix: client fails to connect to SIMCA-online server in Docker container
- Fix: Better client performance when using Properties pane to change coloring
- Fix: When drilling down in a plot in combination with the client option Window tabs: for all configurations the client occasionally crashed.
- Fix: For multi-phase Control Advisor project with phase that had not started executing, the client crashed if the Production overview was open.
- Fix: Closing the report window could occasionally result in that the client crashed.
- Fix: Each time a workspaces was opened, the plots would become larger.
Server Web API:
Fix: Web API /predict incorrectly did not require electronic signature. See Web API - predict function incorrectly does not require electronic signature (Q949) (sartorius.com)
The SIMCA-online web server now sets SameSite=None for cookies when sent over HTTPS. This simplifies using the Web API from other servers.
Improvements for troubleshooting and logging:
Improved troubleshooting for batch project real-time execution: the Debug-level server log now shows audit trail events, logged as AddNamedEvent, and new EvaluateControlData log entries when control data is evaluated for phase execution.
Improved server logging of the operation of Batch Context Generator to simplify troubleshooting.
Improved server logging when the server falls behind in execution on a heavily loaded server with a slow data source
The server log now shows a troubleshooting tip when the service fails to start because of a SimApi issue
