The Digital Account Manager will be responsible for revenue growth within an assigned group of accounts and territory, proactively selling the full range of the Bioprocess portfolio, and developing strong customer relationships in order to leverage our position within the target organizations. The DAM will be responsible for any lead interests and leads from new customers.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Responsible for proactively selling the full range of the bioprocess portfolio
  • Promote the organization's products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range or key account to achieve sales and revenue targets
  • Identify new business opportunities aligned with the organization's overall market and growth strategy
  • Manage assigned accounts utilizing digital tools such as MS Teams and CRM.
  • Meet growth targets and objectives for assigned accounts
  • Research and develop prospects within the assigned account mix
  • Identify key decision makers and gain an understanding of the best approach to communicate and build relationships
  • Leverage Sartorius’ Solutions to solve critical customer challenges from early development to commercial manufacturing
  • Support existing business within the assigned accounts, and uncover additional opportunities (both upstream and downstream)
  • Analyze customer needs, develop solutions and present our offerings
  •  Work closely with Technical Team, Marketing partners and internal stakeholders to utilize resources to support value offerings as well as generate early stage leads.
  • Organize customer presentations, demonstrations and negotiations; provide quotations, close the deal with the customer

Qualification & Skills:

  • Academic degree in life sciences or engineering (higher level of education would be beneficial)
  • Sales experience will be beneficial but not a must, with preferable laboratory / process based experience in Life Science
  • Understanding of GMP processes of advantage
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, energetic, results oriented, capacity to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Good teamwork skills and proven ability to also work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel for meetings or conferences as required up to 10%
  • Proven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office
