• Be the driving force behind implementing effective and efficient product variant management and module management

• Identify drivers of product complexity and support the development of product architectures across the whole product portfolio

• In cooperation with stakeholders, implement and maintain modular product platforms, i. e. Baukasten (German), to ensure quality improvement and cost reduction along the value chain

• The Consultant Product Variant Management (x|f|m) will manage the controlling of variant-induced cost across business functions

• Aligning processes to minimize internal procedural complexity is a crucial part of this role

What will convince us

• A successfully completed Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration and Management, or a related field

• Many years of proven work experience in product variant management or complexity management, experience in the bioprocessing industry will be an advantage

• Professional knowledge on product architectures, modularization, module management as well as controlling of variant-induced costs

• Effectively collaborating with individuals across different business functions on all hierarchy levels

• A results-oriented, strategic & analytical mindset with a high degree of independence

• Feeling at home in an intercultural & virtual, as well as extremely dynamic environment

• Business-fluent in English both oral and written, German or French will be a plus

• General willingness to travel to a minor extent
