Vacusart

Reliable Retention of Bacteria, Particles and Water

Product Information

Vacusart is a ready-to-connect filtration unit for reliable venting of vacuum systems. The permanently hydrophobic PTFE membrane incorporated into this unit reliably retains bacteria, particles and water from gas streams. Vacusart offers the highest possible reliability even at high flow rates and for high moisture content

Applications

Vacusart filter units have been specially designed for reliable venting of vacuum lines and tubing. Vacusart is especially reliable as a water or liquid barrier upsteam of valves or vacuum pumps.

Performance

PTFE is the most hydrophobic material available that is used in gas filtration. Even after undergoing several autoclaving cycles, the PTFE membrane still retains its outstanding hydrophobic properties.

Operating Pressure

3 bar max. (~ 45 psi max.)

Autoclaving Temperature

134°C max.
