Restrictions in demo versions of Umetrics software (Q207)

This article lists the limitations of the demo versions of Umetrics software.

MODDE^®

The demo will work for 30 days after the first installation and cannot be reinstalled on the same computer. Once the 30 days have passed, MODDE^® Pro converts to MODDE^® Learn. MODDE^® Learn only supports the full factorial design with 3 factors and 2 responses, while all other features are available.

To install the demo, you select to install MODDE^® as a demo/trial-version instead of supplying a Product/Activation key.

SIMCA^®

The demo will work for 30 days after the first installation and cannot be reinstalled on the same computer. All functionality is available except scripting.

To install the demo, you select to install SIMCA^® as a trial/demo instead of supplying a Product/Activation key.

SIMCA^®-online

The demo is not limited in time but restricted to only work with the in-house developed simulation database, DBMaker. The installation package includes a demo project and installs and sets up DBMaker.

Virtual machine

The demo versions for MODDE^® and SIMCA^® cannot be run on a virtual machine.
