This article describes the MODDE^® 8.0.1 upgrade patch; fixed problems and improvements, where to locate the update, and how to install it.

Fixed problems and improvements

1) The number of allowed characters for factor and response names was increased to 50. Note that investigations created with more than 25 characters in factor or response names cannot be opened in MODDE^® 8.0.
2) Units of the factors can be added after the factor name in the worksheet by clicking View | General Options, tab General, under Investigation Settings set Show Units In Worksheet to Yes.
3) Inclusions can be imported and edited from the D-Optimal page of the design wizard by clicking the Import or Edit buttons under Inclusions.
4) The 4D Sweet Spot Plot is correct with limits defined in percent and with mixture factors on the inner axes.
5) The legend in the 2D Scatter Plot colored by a variable is correct.
6) When creating the Sweet Spot Plot from the Optimizer the limits are correct.
And other minor fixes and improvements.

This update has been superseded by the MODDE^® 8.0.2 Upgrade. See Q593 for more information.

MODDE^® 8.0 already installed on your computer or a valid product key.

Installing the upgrade

Unzip the downloaded zip file. Run the extracted MSI-file to start the setup program. Click through the wizard and follow the instructions on the screen. Winzip can be downloaded from WinZip
