SIMCA®-online 18.0.1 is a maintenance release for SIMCA-online 18.0.
Fixed issues:
Version compatibility
- 18.0.1 works with the same license as SIMCA-online 18.
- SIMCA-online 18.0.1 clients can be used to connect to a 18.0 server.
There was no update of the server in this release, servers with versions 18.0.0.226 and 18.0.1.339 are identical. - The SIMCA-online database of this build is fully compatible with 18.0
- 18.0.1 replaces a previous 18.0.x installation, and cannot be installed in parallel on the same computer.
- System requirements and other information in SIMCA-online 18 apply.

License holders for SIMCA-online 18 can download the software from my.sartorius.com after logging in with an account associated with the license. Otherwise, contact sales for a download link.
How to install 18.0.1 on a computer without SIMCA-online
Follow the instructions in the Readme and Installation Guide.pdf included in the zip file and run the setup program.
How to upgrade an existing SIMCA-online 18.0 installation
Before upgrading, take a note of the service account you use for the service. After the upgrade to, you need to reconfigure the service account again in Windows services.
Follow the instructions in the Readme and Installation Guide.pdf included in the zip file and run the 18.0.1 setup program. The previous 18.0 installation will be replaced in the original folder it was installed*. Data and settings are preserved.
*) The setup program prompts for an install location but regardless what folder you provide, it will still use the original folder where 18.0 was installed.
