The Biostat® Cplus has been discontinued.
The Biostat® Cplus is a Sterilizable-In-Place (SIP) Fermenter | Bioreactor developed for the cultivation of microorganisms and cell cultures. Culture vessels with working volumes of 5 L, 10 L, 15 L, 20 L and 30 L are available.
Biostat® Cplus – Service and Support Until 2032
If you have an existing Biostat® Cplus system, please be assured that service and support will remain available. All affected products will be supported until the end of 2032. The service will include hardware components and service activities, as well as software support for the DCU-4 automation platform Please note lead times for spare parts might be prolonged.

Sartorius has decided to dedicate its resources to single-use fermentation technology. Product alternatives include Biostat STR® and Biostat® RM bioreactors for cell culture and Biostat STR® Microbial fermenters for microbial applications.
