The Sartorius Application Center in Shanghai, China, is a shared resource between Lab Products & Services and Bioprocess solutions and is established to bring Sartorius closer to its customers in China and Asia. It serves both as a technology experience center and technical training and communication platform for Sartorius internal and external customers.

Single-use Technology in Downstream Application:
Single-use technology (SUT) has been adopted widely in critical production process due to the ease of use, safety and flexibility. In this workshop, you will learn the current regulatory guidance on single-use technology and risk assessment in validating systems, and also have hands-on experience with the most practical single-use solutions in downstream applications.
Optimization of Critical Parameters of Fermentation:
There is always room for improvement in any process. Reducing cost, increasing yield and streamlining process are the main factors to work on. This course can help you to find the optimal solution for your fermentation process.

BIOSTAT® B enables you to control your stirred-tank glass or single-use vessels and rocking-motion vessels.
BIOSTAT® RM 20
BIOSTAT® RM is a single use, wave-mixed bioreactor for culture volumes ranging from 100 mL to 300 L.
BIOSTAT® STR 200
BIOSTAT® STR is a fully scalable single-use bioreactor of conventional design ranging from 50 L to 2000 L.
ambr®15 is an automated microscale bioreactor system that replicates classical laboratory scale bioreactors.
Flexel® for LevMixer®
Flexel® for LevMixer® is based on non-contact magnetic coupling between conventional permanent magnets in the impeller and superconducting materials in the drive unit. Thus, it generates low shear mixing with no friction or mechanical stress that might affect the quality and the stability of the product.
Flexel® for MagneticMixer
Flexel® for MagneticMixer is a compact and non-invasive single-use mixing system with strong magnetic coupling. Its impeller rotates up to 300 RPM on inert bearing assembly, designed to allow high mixing efficiency – especially for large volumes of up to 3,000 L.
Palletank® for Mixing | Storage

Palletank® for impeller mixing is a stainless steel container designed to hold Flexel® bags for LevMixer® and MagneticMixer. Together, they cover the entire range of mixing applications.
Palletank® for storage can be used for bulk harvest, sample collection, final product transport, fraction collection etc. Stainless-steel Palletanks offer robust storage for biopharmaceutical fluids. Plastic Palletanks are foldable and represent a cost-effective containment solution.
The BioWelder® TC is a completely automated device for connecting thermoplastic tubing in a sterile welding operation. It allows sterile connection of liquid-filled tubing from 1/4’’ to 1’’outer diameter.
The BioSealer® is a fully automated device designed to produce permanent and consistent leak-free seals on thermoplastic tubing in a sterile manner without laminar-flow cabinet.
Clipster® and Opta®
Clipster® Aseptic Disconnector and Opta® Aseptic Connector are single-use devices to disconnect | connect single-use transfer lines and bag assemblies used in biopharmaceutical applications.
TAKEONE® Aseptic Sampling System
Inventive design of the TAKEONE® Aseptic Sampling System forges simplicity and practicality.
SARTOFLOW® Advanced is a modular benchtop crossflow system. It has been optimized for ultrafiltration, microfiltration and diafiltration applications. It can be employed in process development, clinical trials as well as small scale production with linear scale-up from 0.1 to 2.1 m2 membrane area. Recirculation vessels are made from either stainless steel or single-use crossflow bags.
