On-Site IT Administrator (m|f|d)

For ALS Automated Lab Solutions GmbH part of SARTORIUS at our site in Jena, Germany, we are seeking an On-Site IT Administrator (m|f|d) to join our team. In this position, you will increase customer satisfaction by record and resolve incidents and service requests encountered in the use of IT hardware and software.

What you will accomplish together with us

  • You take over the troubleshooting of IT issues in 1st and 2nd level support

  • You are responsible for the provision and installation of Windows client and server Systems

  • Access management is also part of your Tasks

  • You will document non-standard Helpdesk procedures

  • You will be responsible for IT equipment, inventory management and logistics management

What will convince us

  • A Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in computer science or similar

  • You have several years of relevant professional experience in IT support of Windows client and server systems, including virtualization. 1st and 2nd level support  is advantageous

  • Proven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office

  • Experience in ITSM is advantageous

  • ITIL would be an asset

  • Excellent communication skills in German and English

  • Excellent service skills
