App Note: Scalable MSC Suspension-Based Process Optimization Using the Sartorius MSC Optimization and Characterization Solution
The ability to manufacture large quantities of MSCs is required for therapeutic applications, and the development of robust, optimized production processes is essential to enable scale-up. Traditionally, process optimization is time- and labor-intensive due to the need to screen for many process parameters. This application note describes using a DOE approach to screen several process parameters at-throughput in a scale-down model in order to set design space for future scale-up.
