Importing Excel file only reads 16384 rows (Q124)

The information in this article applies to:

Symptoms:

When you import an Excel file in the format "Microsoft Excel 97 &5.0/95 Workbook" you will only get the first 16384 rows.

Cause:

This is a limitation in the Excel file format.

Resolution:

Save the file as the default Workbook (the latest version of the format) from Excel and you will be able to import the entire file.
