On-Demand Webinar: Measuring T Cell Exhaustion

Webinar: Measuring T Cell Exhaustion: A Multiplexed Approach Utilizing Advanced Flow Cytometry

Characterizing immune cell functions such as the induction and persistence of T cell exhaustion, is important for furthering therapeutic interventions.  Consequently, development of novel therapies, relies on the use of powerful analytical screening tools, to probe cellular functions.

Flow cytometry is a widely used technique to determine key immune cell characteristics such as immunophenotyping, cytokine production and cell function. Improvements in the flow cytometry arena, have enhanced the ability to obtain large amounts of data for testing potential treatments. However there remains a need to streamline, simplify and accelerate obtaining complex biological data.

Advanced flow cytometry merges high-throughput sampling and advanced data analytics, to improve the identification and analysis of complex biological data.

Key webinar discussion topics include:

  • Discussion of T cell exhaustion
  • Production of multiplexed biological data
  • Application of advanced flow cytometry

Webinar Speaker

Mark Carter, Manager of Assay Development
Product Development Cell Analytics, Sartorius

Mark Carter studied Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM, USA. He worked as a scientist at a startup pharmaceutical company developing a candidate for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.

From there he worked at the University of New Mexico’s Cytometry department utilizing flow cytometry for small molecule discovery and drug repurposing. He has been with Sartorius for the past 6 years, developing reagents for the iQue® Screener platform and now as Manager of Assay Development.
