The Sartorius Annual Report contains a Non-Financial Group Statement as a separate chapter in the Combined Group Management Report, which is subject to audit within the scope of a limited assurance engagement. The Independent Auditors’ Report is published in the Annual Report.

As of 2018, Sartorius Stedim Biotech is exempt from the obligation of providing a Non-Financial Group Statement. However, we provide our full SSB sustainability disclosure in the GRI Report for Sartorius Stedium Biotech.

Sartorius’ sustainability performance is regularly assessed by ESG rating agencies. The results are incorporated into our activities for continuous improvement. 

In addition, Sartorius AG is listed in the DAX ESG 50 sustainability index of Deutsche Börse. The index lists the leading 50 companies based on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) performance, market capitalization and sales revenue.

Whistleblower Portal

An internal system is available for reporting suspicious circumstances involving potential compliance violations anonymously. In addition to standard methods for reporting compliance-related concerns to the Compliance Department or individual managers, Sartorius added a Whistleblower Portal to enable employees, suppliers, customers and partners to report any potentially damaging conduct. This specially secured portal is available 24 hours a day/seven days a week through an external provider that specializes in securely handling confidential data.

Anyone can make a report at any time using the international toll-free number. This telephone line is accessible 24 hours a day. In case your call cannot be answered personally, you can always leave a message on the answering machine. You will receive answers to questions concerning compliance and can report damaging conduct, also anonymously, if desired.
