Katrin Schneider, current scholarship holder

The Sartorius Scholarship offers me the unique opportunity to gain experience in an international company through internships and a master's thesis that can be flexibly adapted in terms of time and topics. In addition, the financial support allows me to really focus on my studies. I particularly appreciate the open atmosphere, which quickly made me feel part of the company. I am also building my network here: I meet regularly with my mentor and have already had the chance to exchange ideas with experts and scientists during a two-day meeting on campus, and to get in touch with other scholarship holders.

Christoph Bierer, former scholar

There are three points about the Sartorius Scholarship Program that are very important to me: the practical experience, for example working in the lab, the network with other scholars and teams and the mentoring program.

Johanna Weiss, HR Change Management Expert

I appreciated the regular exchange with my mentor, experts and other scholars. Furthermore I really enjoyed working on internationally oriented teams and projects. At the same time the family-like culture made me feel immediately integrated as part of the organization.

Jennifer Labisch, Scientist

My mentor supported me in establishing contacts with other work groups. This gave me insights into various topics and projects and allowed me to align my internship and master's thesis in a way that matched my interests.

Jakob Tolk, Team Lead Production

Regular discussions with my mentor was the most valuable part of my Sartorius scholarship. Collaboration was always helpful and based on trust. At the same time, I had all the freedom I needed to decide on matters involving my studies and on my further career.

Svenja Guillaume, Product Manager

I was surprised at how flexible Sartorius was in customizing its scholarship. As my master's program was very time-consuming, I couldn't afford to work several months as an intern. So my mentor organized one-day workshops every month, where I could talk to him and to experts from other departments, present my ideas and collect useful information for my thesis.
