Problem

R2, R2 Adj, Q2 and Model Validity missing (Q650)

Symptoms:

R2, R2 Adj, Q2 and Model Validity displayed as '--'.

Cause:

The investigation has a qualitative or multilevel factor with many levels and the replicate tolerance at '0.1' (default).

Workaround:

Click File | Options and on the MODDE® options page, in the General section, enter '0.01' in the Replicate tolerance field.

MODDE® 10: Click File | Options | MODDE®, on the General tab enter Replicate tolerance '0.01'.

MODDE® 9 and earlierView | General Options,on the General tab enter Replicate tolerance '0.01'.

Status:

Will be improved in a future release.

More Information:

With replicate tolerance '0.1' and qualitative/multilevel factors with many settings, all settings are perceived as replicates due to the implementation of the algorithm. The calculations affected are: R2, R2adj, Q2, Model Validity, and the Lack of fit section in the ANOVA table.
