Vivaflow® SU Extractables Technical Note
Last updated: May 2025
Overview
Purification consumables may contain substances that are hazardous to health, or leach extractables into samples that will compromise downstream experiments.
This technical note presents the extractables profile for Vivaflow® SU and the materials of construction from which these substances originate. Data are presented for cassettes with PES or Hydrosart® RC membranes. It also confirms that Vivaflow® SU is DEHP-free and concludes that there are no extractable substances which would negatively impact on cell growth.
The results and conclusions are intended to support decision making when designing and implementing lab-scale TFF processes, helping to ensure sample integrity and reliable results.
