This technical note explores the synergy between the CellCelector Flex and Incucyte® Live-Cell Analysis System for apoptosis and cytotoxicity assays. The CellCelector isolates single cells, while the Incucyte System monitors growth and morphological changes.
The study evaluates Incucyte® Caspase 3/7 Dyes, confirming their effectiveness in identifying apoptotic cells through fluorescence. HER2-positive breast cancer AU565 cells treated with Kadcyla® and Cisplatin were analyzed using both systems. The Caspase 3/7 Dyes, available in Green and Red variants, demonstrated successful staining, enabling cell selection based on apoptotic status. This integration enhances drug discovery, cancer research, and cell culture optimization, providing comprehensive phenotypic characterization for advanced cell analysis in research settings.
