Overview
This technical note examines the compatibility of Incucyte® Annexin V Dyes with the CellCelector Flex for apoptosis and cytotoxicity assays. The CellCelector isolates single cells, while the Incucyte® Live-Cell Analysis System tracks cell growth and morphology.
Three dye variants—Green, Red, and Orange—were tested, successfully identifying cells based on apoptotic status. These dyes enable real-time quantitative assays without disrupting growth, providing clear fluorescent signals during apoptosis. Experiments with HER2 positive breast cancer AU565 cells treated with Kadcyla® and Cisplatin confirmed the dyes' efficacy in selecting apoptotic cells, enhancing drug discovery and cancer research through advanced phenotypic characterization.
