Capillaries and tips for contamination-free and gentle picking of cells, clusters and colonies

We are offering a wide range of capillaries and disposable tips for all different application fields of the CellCelector. The capillaries and tips are optimized for the specific cell types and picking modules.

These capillaries are designed for the picking of adherent colonies directly from culture vessels without any trypsinization.

Made of stainless steel these capillaries are reusable and autoclavable.
Offered in racks of 96 capillaries they can be loaded directly on the deck tray of the CellCelector. Each pack is delivered with a second rack for collection of used capillaries as well as a custom container for autoclaving.

The following diameters are available:
300 µm; 500 µm; 800 µm and 1000 µm

These glass capillaries are designed for the isolation of single cells, clusters, spheroids, organoids and small parts of colonies. Small diameter capillaries allow targeted picking of individual cells without any cross-contamination by adjacent cells.  Larger diameter capillaries allow picking of clusters or spheroids without creating damaging sheer forces keeping the picked cluster intact. The main application fields are the isolation of rare single cells, e.g. circulating tumor cells or fetal cells as well as single cell cloning for cell line development and isolation of specific parts of stem cell colonies. Capillary diameters and shapes can be customized based on the customers picking application.  

The following standard diameters are available:
20 µm; 30 µm; 40 µm; 50 µm; 60 µm; 80 µm; 100 µm; 150 µm and 220 µm

These plastic tips are specific designed for the picking of clones and 3D clusters from semi-solid media like Methylcelluose, Agarose or Matrigel. The tips are delivered in racks of 96 tips and can be loaded straight onto the CellCelector.

The use of disposable tips guarantees a cross-contamination free isolation of clones.

The following diameters are available:
500 µm and 1200 µm
