The NanoSpark® nanoparticle is a synthetic, monomeric protein of non-human sequence that self-aggregates to generate a protein scaffold. This nanoparticle then binds and displays anti-CD2 and anti-NKp46 antibodies, in a defined mosaic, clustering them in an optimal orientation and spatial distancing for high-efficacy NK cell activation.
The Nanospark® nanoparticle is about 20 nm in diameter and around 600 kDa alone, and as the full GROW-NK reagent is increased in size.
