Women Careers at Sartorius

In 2023, Sartorius welcomed a total of 360 additional women to its global team – from Finland to South Africa, and from the U.S. to Japan.
This means, today, 5,655 women are working towards our ambition of enabling better health for more people, advancing their careers, and growing with the company. Together, they make up 39% of our overall workforce in diverse functions and positions from researchers and engineers, to data analysts and coders, to lawyers, quality managers and operations experts.

In 2023, Alexandra Gatzemeyer was appointed to the Executive Board at Sartorius.
31% of people in leadership positions both directly below the Board level and on the second management level at Sartorius are female.*
With these numbers, the company is well on its way to meeting its target of having one-third women at the two management levels below the Executive Board by the end of 2025.
And while we believe that we are moving in the right direction, we know we are not there yet.

On March 8, International Women's Day, we celebrate women's achievements and raise awareness for the efforts that still need to be made on the road to equality.
