Sartorius hosted a variety of activities and talks at its Campus as part of the fifth Night of Knowledge event in Göttingen (“Nacht des Wissens” in German). More than 1,200 visitors came to the premises to learn about current developments in the life science industry and to gain insights into what Sartorius is all about. It was the first time that the company opened its doors to the public since 2019 and the beginning of the pandemic.
At the event, current topics of the life science industry were presented by Sartorius experts and open for discussion with guests. The panels covered topics including the potential of personalized medicine in the form of cell and gene therapies, as well as the significance of artificial intelligence in the laboratory.
Visitors were also able to discover virtual reality through HoloLenses, put together mixtures in bioreactors and explore 3D printing interactively. Guided tours of the production facilities and the application center gave guests the opportunity to learn about Sartorius technologies and take a look behind the scenes. Additional tours of the campus were also offered to show how biodiversity is being promoted at Sartorius.
