For Sartorius India Pvt. Ltd, we are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in Ahmedabad / Pune. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of revenue by proactively managing a range of accounts throughout by developing and maintaining strong relationships. The goal is to achieve any individual and any assigned group sales target within the financial year for the Live Cell imaging and Cell selection product portfolio.

Job Description:

  • Initiate and manage the full sales process within the assigned territory and product range

  • Maintain the CRM with relevant and up-to-date customer and sales opportunity information

  • Develop and achieve account targets (i.e market share) in Live cell Imaging market in India and Neighboring countries.

  • Be customer-centric ensuring customer satisfaction without compromising the business

  • Expand networks and sell/upsell additional products and services

  • Provide trainings, technical and commercial support to Sales Reps and customers in relevant products and processes

  • Actively contribute to sales growth by identifying new opportunities at customer site

  • Process qualified opportunities from Sales Representatives and negotiate with customers to achieve a successful resolution

  • Identify and implement appropriate action plans to track key accounts

  • This is an Individual contributor role.

What will convince us:

  • Master in life sciences (Biotechnology, Microbiology or Biochemistry), With a PhD preferred. Experience in the industry from Bioasay group or Biosimilar groups preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of field sales experience covering at least 2 regions in India. Candidates with international experience are an addition.

  • Experience in handling Live Cell imagers, Confocal microscopes, Flow Cytometry, or from the Cell Biology field will be preferred.

  • Relevant technical knowledge and extensive industry knowledge (eg. Biotech, Pharma, etc.)

  • Experience in selling capital instrumentation and/or selling consumables / re-agents to clients.

  • Result-oriented and highly motivated.

  • Capable of providing outstanding customer service.

  • Ability to manage complex issues using innovation and processes.

  • A track record of strong compliance and customer reference is required.
