The hybrid role is based in our Bohemia, NY, office!
What you will accomplish together with us:
- Assist the sales teams in preparing offers, documents, technical files, etc., for the bid/tenders
- Search for tendering publication/announcement following sales rep requests, email reception from hosting providers, or direct visits to hosting websites. If necessary, the specialist will ask the administration concerned to receive the tender files
- Send the publication/announcement and the bid/tender documents to the sales rep and application specialists to validate the bid.
- Plan responses to bid/tenders according to the deadlines imposed and reminders.
- Send complete bid/tender response files to customers according to the tenders' specific regulations
- Follow up on requests for amendments, contract renewals, and other amendments
- Inform and transmit to Sales Reps and Application Specialists positive or negative notifications of tenders, with the quote sent to Sales Support for price registration under SAP if the offer is won
- Update and share information on the tenders in an annual summary table.
- Participate in the implementation and development of tools for better service organization
- Independent quotation preparation in available systems, such as SAP, Configurator, and CRM system, in close coordination with the operational sales team as well as other relevant stakeholders
- The Sales Support Specialist Bid/Tender Management may also be required to support Sales Support teams in North America and be called upon by other teams for his/her expertise
What will convince us:
- Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with 2+ years' experience
- 2+ years of experience with bid/tenders and proposals
- Strong analytic and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve
- Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM)
- SAP and Salesforce knowledge
