Field Sales Specialist - Biologics |UK North & Ireland|
We are looking for a Field Sales Specialist for our Biologics portfolio (iQue and Octet & CellCelector). Covering the whole of the UK North region and Ireland, home based with regular travel.
We are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist for the Sales Bioanalytics department at Sartorius. In this role, you will be responsible for representing our bioanalytics products, flow cytometer (iQue), molecular equipment (Octet) and Cell Celector to customers in biopharma, biotech, and academia across UK North & Ireland.
The team consists of ten professionals, and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you.
This position is available full-time. Your territory will cover Cambridgeshire, Midlands, North of England, Scotland and Ireland. You will be based from home with up to 50% travel predominantly in the UK and some occasional international travel, so ideally you will be located close to a major airport within the defined territory.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
On a daily basis you will promote the bioanalytics products and services within the defined territory to achieve sales and revenue targets
You will identify new business opportunities aligned with overall market and growth strategy
Do you enjoy working with cross functional team? You will work closely with Application Specialist to demonstrate the product to customers and other sales specialists and members of marketing and support teams
You will create sales presentation to inform customers about the product
In addition, you will assess and analyze customer needs, generate leads, respond to customer enquiries and suggest products and services as appropriate
You will drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and proactively follow up on the successful implementation of sales activity
You will coordinate and take part in marketing activities
What will convince us
Minimum BSc in Bioprocess Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology, Cell Biology, or comparable qualifications in Life Science
You have experience in selling scientific capital equipment within pharmaceutical, biotechnology industry
Through regular travel to different locations, you will be able to embrace your love for variety and mobility (approx. 50% travel)
Strong customer focus with great communication and negotiation skills
Proactive, driven by results and reaching targets
Self-motivated, energetic and results oriented
