SIMCA®-online Web Client 17
Summary
The SIMCA®-online Web Client is a web-based solution for monitoring production in mobile or desktop browsers, and for displaying details about alarms and resetting them after clicking a link in a notification email. Users log in with their SIMCA®-online user names and passwords.
SIMCA®-online Web Client 17 is installed with SIMCA®-online 17, but can connect to earlier server versions as described below.

Changes in Web Client 17
- Batch condition alarms not shown in chart and alarms list on chart page
- Number formats of small numbers in tooltips in charts
- Reset button on login page only works once
- Removed unnecessary console logging
- Updated third party dependencies
Compatibility with SIMCA®-online server:
- SIMCA®-online Web Client 17 is installed with SIMCA®-online 17.
- You can also connect to SIMCA®-online 16.0 and 16.1.x servers on the login screen of the Web Client.
- If the log in fails when specifying another server, you need to change a setting in your browser. Learn more under About and Help on the login screen.
- Resetting alarms in the Web Client works with SIMCA®-online 16.1.x servers or later.
Installation instructions
See the SIMCA®-online Web Client Installation Guide (on the start menu when SIMCA®-online has been installed) for how to install and configure the Web Client on your SIMCA®-online server. After installation, refer to the built in help in the Web Client to learn how to use the product.
