Overview
Exploring Antibody Internalization: Case Studies Using the iQue® HTS Platform
Antibodies targeting cell surface antigens, can trigger endocytosis leading to their internalization, a process known as antibody internalization (ABI). Monitoring ABI is vital in Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC) design, as factors such as the target antigen's epitope, ADC-antigen affinity, and intracellular trafficking, affect internalization.
ADCs combine immunotherapy and chemotherapy for targeted cancer treatment, they represent one of several modifications made to monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) to enhance their anti-tumor activity.
This application note includes case studies in the characterization of ADCs, and the differentiation of monocytes into dendritic cells.
