Environmental and genetic factors that affect the quality of Cannabis and Hemp

Duration: 1 hour

Overview

In this webinar, we explore how genetics and environmental factors affect the quality of cannabis and hemp. We will walk you through the role of cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids, emphasizing their synergistic effects, known as the entourage effect. Learn how advanced lighting technologies, like full-spectrum LEDs, and controlled growth environments enhance yield and phytochemical density.

We also highlight advances in genetic innovation, from selective breeding to compliance-driven solutions that meet changing regulations. Analytical techniques such as liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry are very important for the process of identifying and quantifying the various chemical constituents present in the cannabis plant. Environmental considerations like soil quality, water composition, and lighting are proven to significantly impact plant health and therapeutic compound expression.

As cannabis research advances, the discovery of new constituents and their potential medical applications offers exciting possibilities for the future of medicine. Watch the webinar to gain valuable insights into optimizing cannabis cultivation and leveraging its full therapeutic potential.
