Sartorius Grew by A Record-Number of 3,195 People in 2021

Sartorius continues to grow dynamically - and with this, so does our team: At the end of 2021, the Group employed 13,832 people worldwide, increasing its headcount by a record-number of 3,195 or 30%. This also means that an average of 1,600 jobs have been created annually since 2017.

When looking at the regions, the teams have each grown strongly over the past year:

  • In the EMEA region, in 2021, 9,030 people were employed compared to 7,100 in 2020 - a gain of 27%.
  • The Americas region reported the highest increase in staff, with growth of 46% or 880 new people. In total, around 2,800 contributed to our ambitions in the region.
  • In the Asia | Pacific region, the team grew by around 25.4% or 400 people to more than 2,000.
