India Delivery Center Opened

Closer to Talent and Synergizing Expertise

In recent years, Bangalore, India, has become an important hub for IT and software expertise. In a move to better leverage its capacities, Sartorius earlier this year opened a Delivery Center in the middle of the metropolis, bringing together the company's local IT and software experts. The new location marks a big step forward in aggregating competence and enabling collaborations as well as in reaching the exceptional local talent pool.

After lighting a lamp that symbolizes a great start and much success in Indian culture, known as Deep Prajwalan in Hindi, the new facility opened to more than 100 employees from the IT and Digital Solutions teams. The space covers approximately 3,000 square feet (280 square meters) and includes a training room and an embedded software lab. Only three miles from the city center, the location is attractive for Bangalore's IT and software talents.

The new Sartorius office underlines our ambitions to establish a software competence center in the APAC region, leveraging the unique talent pool that makes Bangalore a global software powerhouse for local and international companies.

The Digital Solutions team of Sartorius' Bioprocess Solutions Division has grown significantly from 20 to almost 50 people over the last 18 months. Led by Adarsh Agrawal, team members from Software Application Reliability, Biobrain Application & Testing, Biobrain Automation and Acceptance Test as well as Development & Operation Implementation will be working in the center.

To create synergies and foster exchange between departments, IT teams from different areas, such as security, SAP, digital workplace and software development are also moving into the location, providing 24/7 operation and delivering comprehensive IT services for Sartorius worldwide.
