Generational Balance: Connecting Experience with Fresh Perspectives

The combination of seasoned employees and new joiners creates a strong dynamic at Sartoriusbringing together those who know which way the wind is blowing and those who bring in a fresh breeze. Across the company, 45% of our team members have joined within the past five years, while 15% have been part of our journey for more than 15 years.

With around 50% of employees both over and under 40 years of age, young talent as well as experienced professionals shape our workforce alike. Four generations – “Boomers”, Gen X,Y and Z – work side by side to create innovative solutions for our customers. There is a collaborative environment that allows for a dynamic exchange of thoughts and approaches. Progressing Gender Parity: Women Across All Levels

Women make up around 39% of Sartorius’ workforce, with their share among new hires rising to 44% in 2025. In some regions, representation is even higher, reaching 47% in China and 48% in France.

At leadership level, 32% of positions directly below the Board and on the second management level are held by women.

With the Sartoruis Business Women's Association, hundreds of female employees have created an internal network in which all ambitious women within the Group can come together, share their experiences and help each other grow. In addition, Sartorius has been a corporate partner of the non-profit organization Healthcare Businesswomen Association since 2021 and offers employees access to the organization’s network.

These voluntary groups are built around shared characteristics or experiencessuch as gender, sexual orientation, and more.
