Streamlining Omics Research with Progenesis QI and EZinfo®

This webinar will introduce omics workflows using Waters instrumentation in combination with the Progenesis QI and EZinfo® software platforms. The presentation will explain the basics of omics studies and how Waters can provide solutions to challenging analytical questions. Progenesis QI will be highlighted as a package to perform peak alignment and picking alongside compound quantification and identification. In addition, the interaction between Progenesis QI and EZinfo® will be highlighted, with focus on the detailed and comprehensive statistical tools available within EZinfo®.

A case study based around metabolomic syndrome disorders will be covered, showcasing how features of significance can be determined and identified between the cohorts sampled. 

The objective of this webinar will be to introduce omics studies utilizing both Waters instrumentation and software packages along with our collaboration with EZinfo® and how Progenesis QI and EZinfo® interact.

This webinar is presented by Jack Steed, Senior applications chemist at Waters. Jack has worked within mass spectrometry for over 10 years covering various workflows and analyses. Jack started his career at Intertek in 2014 working as an analytical chemist before joining SCIEX in 2019 as a senior technical marketing specialist where his position was to analyze samples for customer collaboration and content generation. In 2024, Jack joined Waters with his focus now being on Omics analysis and software solutions.
