Driving Environmental Sustainability in the Biopharmaceutical Industry

Key sustainability opportunities for the biopharmaceutical industry include reducing environmental footprints, striving against resource depletion, and managing waste. As an important partner in the industry, Sartorius aims to champion sustainability by setting a good example. This means implementing sustainable practices into its own processes, carefully choosing partners who share sustainability values, and providing products and services to help partners prioritize sustainability for themselves. In this webinar, a panel of experts from Sartorius and collaborators will discuss how bioprocess solutions and expertise empower manufacturers to make their own processes more sustainable by adopting single-use [SU] technologies, improving process efficiency, and forging productive collaborations.

Key Learning Objectives:

  1. Climate Action - Discover how efficient manufacturing strategies can impact climate goals.
  2. Water-Use Efficiency - Learn how SU facilities can significantly reduce water consumption.
  3. Materials & Circularity - Understand the full impact of a product's environmental footprint.
  4. Partnerships - Get insight into meaningful sustainability collaborations.
