Against the background of a dynamically expanding biopharmaceutical market, Sartorius China has become a main pillar of the Sartorius Group's growth strategy. Chinese customers now account for around one-third of the sales revenues generated in the Asia| Pacific region, and through the implementation of the GoChina 2025 strategy, Sartorius is further extending the activities and footprint here. As part of the strategic initiatives, the plans for Sartorius Shanghai's new office began in 2019. The goal was not only to provide more space for organizational development, but also to be able to expand the Application Center and Process Validation Lab, both located in the old building.

The new premises cover a total of 6,000 square meters on five floors. Besides modern offices and meeting rooms, the location encompasses special features, such as an on-site library that supplies trade journals and publications for the latest industry news and insights, as well as a small gym with fitness equipment to support a healthy life style.

With a workspace designed for growth, the local employees are eager to explore the new functionalities. "It's a huge improvement to our working environment. I enjoy working in the new office very much," said Lucy Yan, Regional Legal Counsel, China.

As China approaches the Chinese Year of the Ox, which begins February 12 and symbolizes hard work, the local teams are feeling ambitious and confident about their goals to continue to grow the business.
