The participants grant Sartorius the non-exclusive right to use their contribution free of charge for a period of one year after publication of the shortlist in the name of the LifeScienceXplained Prize and to publicise it worldwide. Entries may be shortened and extracts used as required. Submissions are valid without a signature; by submitting an entry, participants accept our conditions of participation and the legal information. The jury will select three entries from all submissions for the shortlist, from which the winning entry will then be chosen. The name of the winner and the jury's reasons will be announced when the prize is awarded. The complete list of entries submitted will not be published. The jury's decisions are not subject to any legal appeal. *
