Bridging Screening and Optimization – the new System Characterization objective in MODDE^®.

System Characterization is a new investigation objective in MODDE^®, which bridges the gap between initial Screening DOE and later Optimization DOE. It is used to get a more detailed understanding of the influence of the most important factors. In this context one useful design family is the reduced combinatorial design (RCD). RCD is an algorithmic design, which generates a reduced design having a balanced coverage of all possible factor settings.
