Verena Tan

Product Specialist, Chromatography, APAC

Verena works as a product specialist at Sartorius and is an expert on formulating commercial strategies. With more than 10 years of experience on downstream processes in the biopharmaceutical industry, Verena provides technical support for the chromatography hardware portfolio. Before joining Sartorius, Verena was an MSAT process development engineer at Lonza where she worked on technology transfer and process optimization projects. Verena holds a master’s degree in industrial systems engineering and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the National University of Singapore.

Mario Grünberg

Scientist, Modalities & Analytics

Mario Grünberg is a scientist working with the application and testing of separation technologies at Sartorius. He contributes to the development and verification of systems and consumables for downstream processing, with a focus on process development and analytics.  

During his PhD, he established chromatographic purification processes for human signal proteins. Before joining Sartorius, he worked as process engineer for a CDMO in downstream process development and GMP production of protein-based therapies.
