Shashi Malladi

Senior Scientist, Purification Process Development, Mammalian Platform, Global CMC Development, Sanofi, Framingham, USA 

Shashi Malladi has worked for Sanofi since receiving her PhD in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada, in 2020. Currently a Senior Scientist, she leads the development of the purification process for a monoclonal antibody in Sanofi’s pipeline. She is actively involved in Sanofi’s integrated continuous biomanufacturing (ICB) technology development efforts, with a focus on single-pass tangential flow filtration. She has established herself as a subject matter expert in that area and has published her work on single-pass diafiltration in the Journal of Membrane Science.
