Sartorius Opens New Subsidiary in Peru

Lima, March 17, 2016 – Today, Sartorius, a leading international laboratory and pharmaceutical equipment supplier, officially opened its new sales office in Lima, Peru. Among the around 100 guests were representatives from local government, customers and business partners. The new subsidiary focuses on the expanding pharmaceutical market. It will offer a broad portfolio of single-use products and equipment used in bioprocessing. The office starts with four employees, additional hires are planned. In the past, Sartorius attended the Peruvian market through its sales site in Argentina. In his opening remarks, Robert Eberlein, Managing Director of Sartorius Group Latin America, acknowledged the strategic importance of the new office: "We are very confident that Peru is the right place to invest in. From this new home base we will not only be able to serve the needs of the growing Peruvian pharma market better but also to expand our activities on the South American Pacific coast.”
