Boston Consulting Group again ranks Sartorius shares as among the best in the world
- Second place among German stocks
- Average total shareholder return (TSR) of 36.6% over the past five years
Göttingen, July 13, 2018 – Shares of the Sartorius Group, a leading international partner of the biopharmaceutical industry and the research sector, again won a top slot in the global Value Creators rankings of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). In this annual analysis, an eight-member team of experts determines which of the more than 2,400 shares worldwide
deliver the best TSR. After Sartorius had won the ranking spot a year ago as the German share with the highest return, the company was pleased to be ranked second this year. Sartorius also performed well in the rankings by industry: Only four German stocks number among the best of their sector and Sartorius was one of these, ranking ninth in medical technology.
The key metric for determining rankings is how much value a share generates by price increases and dividends. In assessing top value creators, BCG analysts tracked TSR over a five-year period from 2013 through 2017, in which the Sartorius share delivered a total return averaging 36.6% per year for its shareholders.
