OEM Membranes

Rapid diagnostic tests are sustaining a rapid growth as they become a major segment in the Point of Care IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic) world market. Two formats using microporous membranes are the most common in IVD devices: The Lateral flow strip and the immunoblot strip. Though, due to its simplicity, the lateral flow format is from far the most popular. Sartorius has developed special nitrocellulose membranes which are today a reference for consistency in IVD strips or new protein arrays.
