CIMmultus® DEAE 1 mL Monolithic Column (2 μm)
CIMmultus® is a unique and industry-proven line of pre-packed chromatographic monolithic columns featuring large flow-through channels, designed for working with large biomolecules such as viruses (AAV, adenovirus, lentivirus, influenza, bacteriophages), nucleic acids (mRNA, pDNA), virus-like particles and exosomes. Inside the custom designed housing is a single piece stationary phase with homogeneous channel size and surface chemistry. This stationary phase is designed to simplify method transfer from development into production.
Without the need for column packing, CIMmultus® Monoliths are ready for use out of the box.
This high-performance ion exchange column is primarily intended for fast and efficient purification of biomolecules such as large proteins, viruses and virus like particles through their ionic interaction with the monolith. The following information is being provided to ensure proper product care and optimal product performance.
DEAE (diethylamine) features:
- Weak anion exchanger
- Working range, pH 2–9
- Binds molecules with predominantly negative charge, repels molecules a predominantly positive charge
- Use for capture, intermediate, or polishing steps in either bind-elute or flow-through mode
- High capacity for plasmid DNA
- Sanitizable with 1 M NaOH

Chemical CompatibilityAll commonly used aqueous buffers, 1 M NaOH, 0.1 M HCl, 8 M urea, 6 M guanidine hydrochloride and 20 % ethanol solution. Avoid oxidising agents. Avoid prolonged exposure to concentrated acids (over 0.5 M) such as hydrochloric, sulphuric or acetic acids.
